wppt

A solver for Wave- and Particle-like Phonon Transport (WPPT)

WPPT is our own developed package for the coherence and coherence-corrected thermal conductivity calculations. If you are interested in this project, please refer to our recently developed theories and papers.

dENSITY OF STATES

Density of states is widely used to study the vibrational states of phonons in various materials.

SED

Spectral energy density (SED) is used to mapping the vibrational energy to different wavevectors and frequencies (i.e., dispersion). Then broadening of the energy can be implemented to study the modal lifetimes of phonons.

dynamic structure factor

Dynamic structure factor (DSF) is widely used to study the collective excitation of thermal vibrations in amorphous or amorphous-like materials.
